Our stand at IMHX (19L130) will be part of the AMHSA Pavilion and we will be showcasing new technologies with our product specialists on hand to consult with you on your individual application requirements. IMHX runs from the 19th to the 22th March at the NEC. Pepperl+Fuchs will be displaying the innovative R2000 laser, a 360º scanning distance measurement laser, which can be used for a multitude of positioning and detection tasks in the materials handling and manufacturing sectors. Also on display will be the LS680 optical data coupler which is the fastest of its kind with 100MBit/s transparent Ethernet, and offers users the opportunity to employ application features that would normally be unavailable because of bandwidth limitations such as real time video for diagnostics and maintenance. Another market leading, feature packed product on display is the positioning system that uses a double line data matrix code band to deliver highly accurate position information (0.1mm) over a staggering maximum distance of 10Km! The system, known as PCV, is able to work both horizontally also vertically which offers users the unique ability to monitor wear on rails and rollers on overhead systems, and the use of the data matrix code brings with it the excellent code redundancy allowing high levels of dirt and degradation to occur without missing positional data.
