We are pleased to introduce a new member of our family of optical distance-measuring devices. As the technological leader in Pulse Ranging Technology (PRT), Pepperl+Fuchs strongly backs this procedure. We have developed our technology so that it fits into a light barrier housing and is easy to use.

The advanced Pulse Ranging Technology allows better parameters at lower cost.

It compares especially well to previous time-of- flight solutions, that are based on the principle of phase correlation. Our measuring method is based on the time evaluation of extremely short but high-intensity light pulses. This technology is applied by sensors that are highly insensitive to extraneous light and remain stable at high temperatures and in the long-term without measuring drift.
