In many applications, e.g., on machine tools, RFID Systems must be small and adaptable. The new IDENTControl Compact interface unit from Pepperl+Fuchs satisfies both requirements and supports all RFID tags with 125 kHz , 250 kHz , 13.56 MHz , 868 MHz and 2.45 GHz frequencies. It offers extremely high stability against electromagnetic influence and can be mounted to suit the application.
Versions are available with one or two channels, as well as theRS 232 and RS 485 interfaces or PROFIBUS. An Ethernet version will be available from March 2009.
