You can use our AS-Interface handheld VBP-HH1-V3.0 to address and test your AS-Interface network or individual components quickly without requiring additional equipment. The extended functions of version VBP-HH1-V3.0-V1 allow you to supply power to powerful consumers via an external current source.

AS-Interface slaves can be connected directly using a plug-in adapter, a programming cable or an M12 connecting cable.

Addressing individual modules or even individual networks is particularly easy because the handheld is operated using one hand.

The AS-Interface analyzer allows online monitoring of communication in the current process in the AS-Interface network, enabling you to localize faults (e.g. caused by excessive line lengths) quickly and reliably. The AS-i Control Tools software provides assistance in the configuration and parameterization of the AS-Interface network. The gateway communicates with the PC via a corresponding interface convertor (e.g. from Profibus to RS 232).

The typically profiled flat cable is used in most AS-Interface installations. The flat cable with rubber sheath and oil-resistant TPE design is available in yellow and black.

If you intend to use AS-Interfaces to implement safety-related applications, you can also opt for our flat cables marked with a red “+++SAFETY+++” label.

Lower sections for AS-Interface modules make laying AS-Interface flat cables easier. A mechanical code prevents you from mounting the components incorrectly. Pepperl+Fuchs offers a variety of lower sections with and without an addressing jack, for flat and round cables as well as different enclosure sizes.
